A multitude and variety of services requires a range of boats. The fleet ranges from 20’ to 33’ including both day and overnight boats. Vessel designs vary; some models include Bayliners, Zetas, Grady Whites and Custom Aluminums.

All vessels meet and/or exceed Canadian Coast Guard and/or Department of Transportation safety guidelines. While some vessels are designed with full sit down cabins, and some with full amenities, and others have canvas tops to cover the cabin, all have v-berths and heads. Each vessel is equipped with all the electronics needed; which could include VHF, radar, depth sounder, GPS and cell phone. Life jackets and necessary safety features included. Cruising speed depends on the size of boat and type of motor. Day vessels get you to the grounds quickly; average travel time ranges from 30 – 60 minutes. Most overnight vessels leave the evening before to have you on the grounds for the early morning bite.

Guides working with Foggy Point Charters are personable, knowledgeable and professional. These Northcoast residents have made guiding a livelihood as well as a hobby because of their love of the sport. Many of these guides are actively involved in the local Chatham Sound Charter Boat Association and/or the Sport Fishing Advisory Board.
